After EODY (National Public Health Organization) announced the first five WNV cases for 2019 in Greece, Mrs. Anna Papa-Konidari, Professor for Microbiology from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and scientific responsible of the EWSMD (Early Warning System for Mosquito-borne Diseases) research project, and Dr. Spiros Mourelatos, President of Ecodevelopment S.A. and coordinator of the EWSMD project discuss about the risk for and the symptoms of West Nile Fever as well as preventive measures against mosquito bites that citizens in affected areas should implement.
